::filter painting::

Another great idea from Frugal Family Fun.  We wan to use this craft for the art party - so it needed a test drive.  It is going to be perfect at the party.

You take a coffee filter, fold it up and cut the edges to make a sun (see the FFF for tutorial), and then use watercolors to paint it.

Lily painted it on top of another piece of paper.  She loved all the colors, so she wants to keep her scrap paper too.

We hung it up on the window to let the sun shine through it.

  1. That is so neat. My daugther did that in school a few years back and she really enjoyed it. What they did though was to put it in a bowl and drip paint on it and then watch the paint travel up the sides of the filter making neat patterns.
