::camping::

We went camping last week.  I LOVE CAMPING.  No phones, no computer - just true focus on each other.  I can't seem to truly achieve that at home.  But camping requires a great deal of work from me.  Everyone looks at me to have the one random thing that they are looking for.  We almost always go camping with my wonderful sister inlaw Jamie. She is also a nurse and a freakishly organized person.  You should see her pantry.  She usually takes care of all the food and cooking, so it makes the whole trip very relaxed for me.  But this year we are going to go some with out her.  GULP!  So I need to get it together.  I studied her stuff that she brought and I took a little campfire time to take the list I already had and one I had gotten off line to try and make my grand-master-best-camping-list-of-all-time.  Here it is.  Throw in some constructive critic if you see something left out.

  1. We just went on our first camping trip last weekend. What a learning experience! (We have a pop-up.) Your list looks great. Wish I had it last week...we forgot to check our propane and had to fill up at the campsite.(overpriced) I forgot salt and pepper. I LOVE the idea for squirt guns and chalk! Thanks for sharing!
