::disney June 2019- part one ::

::MAY 30th::

Lots of plans had to be changed and adjusted.  A few days before our trip a tornado went through Pendleton and school ended up being extended an entire day.   We had to last minute change Lily’s ticket so she would fly out on Friday with Emma after Lily’s finals were done.
Josh and I picked the boys up directly from school and went to the airport.   We had a two hour delay on our flight, which ended up with us arriving at Old Key West at about 1am.    I forgot to do online check in so we had to check in at the counter. I was stressed because Josh wanted a room near the hospitality house so we could better utilize food delivery services like Uber Eats or Door Dash.   I didn’t think there was any chance that we would get lucky enough to have that request approved. She told us we were in building 62, but when she circled it on the map I squealed. It is right across the main street from the Hospitality House.    It was such a lucky break and it made me so happy.

When we got to the room we quickly saw that the rooms have been updated.  New floors, new appliances, new furniture, and new paint. It looks so good.  There is a new TV in the main room that is huge, the boys where so excited. We ordered a pizza from a late night place and it ended up being wonderful quality.   We finally crawled into bed around 2am.

::MAY 31::

We go up and went to get some breakfast up front.   Somehow during that entire process Max dropped his Magic Band off the upper decks onto the employee only lower docks.   How it didn’t end up in the water is a miracle. Josh went to the front desk to any for some assistance, they don’t Max he was going to have to work with them for the rest of the day to pay this level of service.    It was very cute. Meanwhile, Quinn found a life gaurd and talked him into getting getting it. The Magic Band was saved!
We got a Lyft and went to the WalMart near the parks.   I was very nervous because I have previously had a terrible experience at an Orlando area Walmart.   Josh researched that this Walmart was not the trashy one we had been to before. I was nervous. Stupidly so, but it was really bad last time.   We had the cutest Lyft driver that is a professional magician. The trip to the store was peaceful and normal. The boys actually had fun getting all the stuff they wanted.   We got back to the room and our bags from the night before had arrived (they couldn’t be delivered on time because we got in so late). Josh took the boys to the pool and I had a full hour to put away all the food and unpack the bags.  That may sound crazy, but I loved it. I got to get everything organized and situated.
After that we went to Magic Kingdom.   We got the boys AP’s activated then went and got them card for the Sorcerers game.   The funny thing is they really just want the cards, they never even asked to paly the game.
We went and got on Pirates, Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, Dumbo, and Splash Mountain.   I grabbed us one last Fast Pass for Buzz. Maybe I read up on how to beat Josh at Buzz, maybe I didn’t.   You can’t prove it and my browser history is deleted. Max and Quinn wanted to ride together alone on most everything.
We came home and had dinner in our room.  Went swimming and wait for the girls to arrive.   They had flights on time and arrived with no problems.   I felt so much intense relief to have them here, I hate us all not being together.

::JUNE 1st::

Quinn woke up and talked Lily into taking him to the pool.   We all slept in and I woke up to find out that those two had taken off to the pool just them.   Quinn is a really strong swimmer so I knew they would be fine, but I just thought it was so sweet.
We went to EPCOT and the kids got to get their first every Passholder magnets, Daisy duck.   They are really adorable. Our trip was during Flower and Garden and we did do some of the food stands.   I always enjoy the topiaries a great deal.
