::children's museum::

My sister was in town and we managed to make it to the Indianapolis Children's Museum.  We are members there and we love going there.   This time we spent lots of time just letting the kids take it slow.  If they wanted to play on the same thing for an hour, then we let them.

The rocked out at the new Rock Star Exhibit.  Max spent some quality time pretended to break his guitar against the stage floor.  He is a true rocker.  Lily and Baby Sybil spent lots of time trying of every piece of dress up clothes in the place.

Max got sleepy and after tipping over the stroller he fell asleep on me while I was holding him.  It was a great snuggle, but he is SO heavy.  Thankfully he is a deep sleeper and I got him into his stroller.

They had a blast in the modern day Egypt exhibit.  They actually ended up taking part in an Egyptian Sebou, which is the celebration of a new baby.  Lily got picked to pretend to be the mother of the new baby.  She played her part perfectly.  We learned a lot and had a lot of fun.  Which is really the whole point.  Can't wait to go again.

  1. prophetic celebration of a new baby?! also, it just makes so much sense that lily would know how to perfectly swaddle an infant. she probably could also quote sids protocol.
