::girls small business saturday, music man, show choir, piney acres, office party::

The women in this family managed to sneak out for Small Business Saturday.  Our cute little town is adorable and we were glad to support our local businesses.

Mr Max just had his elementary school version of Music Man.  It was adorable and he was so cute in it.  I love watching this kid on stage.  He is so much fun.

This kid got a job singing Christmas carols at our area tree farm.  The adorable factor was high and she did amazing.  I may be biased but her cuteness factor was out of control.
Confession time:  Lily is in varsity show choir.  I really thought it was not going to be something I could get excited about.  I knew I was going to have to be part of it but I thought it would be one more thing on the To Do list.

AND I AM IN LOVE!!!!  She got her first big solo already (a huge thing for a freshman).  She killed it and I am so enjoying being part of this.  I even joined the booster club.  It's such a great group of kids.

Emma is her stylist and makes she she goes out on point.

She went to Max's elementary school on a recruitment trip and the school nurse sent me this awesome picture.  My heart melted.

Look at the difference one year makes!  She was lovely last year but now she is a knock out.

Look at that happy face!

Her little group of best friends are in other choirs and she is loving having them near.  Her best friend since babies is not in choir but came out to support her.  Then her dear friend Mason is around lots too.  Can I just say that I adore him?

This is a picture of what it takes to get Lily's hair ready for performance.  AQUA NET!!!

I am the shorties person in the world!  These two make me look tiny.

The kids all got to meet Santa.  Quinn asked for a bass fishing boat so he can shoot caribou in the water in Alaska while they are swimming (he saw this on TV).

This is my second Christmas in my office and I was so excited to drag Josh along to the Christmas party.  I had a really good time.  Lucky for Josh It was at his brothers house!  I work with my sister inlaw (who is married to Josh's brother).

::day after thanksgiving is CHRISTMAS TIME::

We waited as long as possible, but TG is over so lets get this part started!
It's Christmas time!
In Central Indiana this time of year the weather could be anything, but we lucked out with a decent sunny day.

I picked out this little beutiy.  No - this is not a pano shot, he is really that wide.  I love him.

Of course we had to do a jumping picture.  The girls have it mastered.

Oh my Joshy.

We ignored the sign saying not to let kids carry the saws.  What could possibly go wrong?

I was a bit excited.

Max got sick of pulling the sled pretty quick.

Lily picked this little guy!  He had some issues.

Then Max got really comfy in the sled.

Quinn demanded that he be the one to cur down the tree.

He was seriously focused.

It took us about 500 trees before we found the right one.  It had a nest in it that we moved to an neighboring tree.

Us girls were supporting headbands.

My delish Max.

The girls tired to get the boys to pull them.

But the girls could move those boys.

Look at the crew of lunatics.

Then the little stud man had to pull the tree out of the field.

Daddy did have to help him finishing it off.

Then he had to take a nap.

Oh was it fun to watch the whimpy weak dads trying to carry their trees out.  Josh walked around like it was nothing.

Of course the goof troop had to try to help.

Emma gave some good hugs.

Fit just perfect!  And this was after we cut an entire foot off it.

The kids and I got ALL the decorations out.

I just love this airy bright kitchen.

We had some good tunes.

I got some vintage decor from my mother last year.

Gigantic stocking handmade by Josh's mother.

We had to tie the star on the tree.

The trees are from flea markets, but the center piece is another awesome item from my mother.
